Amass your storage solutions and build a digital library of your favourite games with four SATA III and two M.2 interfaces. Install your high-powered graphics cards with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot while PCIe 4.0 x16 (in x4 mode) and PCIe 3.0 x1 slots are reserved for utility cards.

Connectivity
The PROJECT ZERO features a wide breadth of connectivity options between the back panel and internal headers, giving you multiple USB-A 2.0, 3.2 Gen 1, and Gen 2 ports for peripherals and other gaming devices. You can also use Bluetooth 5.3 technology to leverage wireless devices for a true cable-free experience. Connect to your network either wired or wirelessly with a single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) capabilities, respectively, so you can download your favorite games and upload your media quickly.

Power and Fan Connections
While the front of the motherboard features the Intel LGA 1700 socket, M.2 storage interfaces, expansion slots, memory slots, heat sinks, and more, the rear of the motherboard is your central point for the rest of your devices. High-performance power, fan, SATA, and USB connectors are placed on the rear to reduce cable clutter on the front side of your board, giving your system a clean look. Due to the nature of the PROJECT ZERO motherboard, it is only compatible with a selection of MSI PC cases including the MSI MAG PANO M100 PZ, Lian Li Lancool 216R, and more.

Four USB-A 2.0 ports are for low-end peripherals such as your mouse and keyboard while the three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports support high-powered devices like external storage drives with data transfer speeds up to 10 Gb/s. You also get a single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port for even greater device support and speeds up to 20 Gb/s. A 2.5 GbE LAN port and dual Wi-Fi antenna connectors are available for your networking. You also get DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs that work with CPUs that feature integrated graphics.

Audio Support
Obtain high-end audio support backed by a dedicated isolated analogy structure that separates the audio portion of the PROJECT ZERO from the rest of the components to prevent any possible interference. Enhanced audio capacitors and processor work together to produce immersive 7.1 audio. The back panel provides you with five audio jacks for speakers and microphones while leveraging de-pop protection to prevent loud popping when plugging and unplugging devices.
